Booking Terms

Minimum participants

Small-group departures require a minimum of 4 booked guests. If the minimum is not reached, we will offer an alternative date, a private upgrade at the published private rate, or a full refund.

Cancellation

Cancellation fees per guest, based on days before departure:

• · More than 30 days before: full refund minus a € 25 processing fee.
• · 30 to 14 days before: 30 % of the tour price.
• · 14 to 7 days before: 60 % of the tour price.
• · Fewer than 7 days before: 100 % of the tour price.

Private tours follow the same tiers per vehicle. We recommend travel insurance.

Liability

Aurora Austria acts as organiser of the tours it directly operates. Liability for personal injury is limited to the statutory maximum. Liability for material damage is limited to three times the tour price per guest, provided the damage was not caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Carrier liability (coaches) follows the applicable Austrian and EU transport regulations.

Weather

Tours run rain or shine. Coaches are fully enclosed and indoor stops work in any weather. In severe weather (e.g. road closures on alpine passes), we reschedule at no fee or substitute an equivalent programme.

Programme changes

We reserve the right to alter itineraries (e.g. opening hours, traffic, events) provided the overall character of the tour is preserved. Substantial changes entitle you to withdraw without fee.
